With Liverpool star Mohamed Salah now leaving for AFCON, Gabriel Agbonlahor has now been giving his thoughts on how the side will cope.
Jurgen Klopp’s team are now top of the Premier League, three points clear of second placed Aston Villa.

With that in mind, Agbonlahor was discussing the struggles that Darwin Nunez has endured with his finishing of late.
Speaking on talkSPORT, Agbonlahor wasn’t at all convinced that Nunez could replace Salah for Liverpool, saying he had more faith in Diogo Jota to pull through.
Agbonlahor said: “He can’t finish, you look at his chances, I’ve actually got a funny stat here. I was looking at it yesterday, he’s missed 38 big chances since he joined Liverpool.
“He just misses too many chances and without Salah, Salah’s their main man, he gets them important goals.
“Nunez is that sort of player that like, if he’s through on goal and he’s got time, he’s going to make the wrong choice, he’s going to kick it straight at the keeper, he’s not going to be clinical enough.
“Jota’s back though, if Jota can get back scoring goals, he will help with Salah being out.”
Gabriel Agbonlahor doesn’t think Darwin Nunez can replace Mohamed Salah for Liverpool
Of course, these thoughts do seem a little harsh on Nunez who has still been producing a high level of performance.
The striker is almost a victim of his own quality at times, a player who misses more chances because his movement is good enough to create such a volume.

Cody Gakpo and Luis Diaz will also be ready and waiting for the task – it certainly shouldn’t be too much of a worry.
And rather than seeing Salah as a huge miss, Liverpool’s forward line should be excited for their chance.
Darwin Nunez has so much promise and potential, and he constantly seems an inch away from brilliance.
That being said, one pundit has now shared his opinion on a different player Liverpool now need to step up.
