Liverpool loanee Fabio Carvalho has received further praise after a ‘stunning’ strike for Hull City in their draw with West Brom on Saturday.
Fabio Carvalho definitely appears to be finding his feet for the Tigers following his arrival in the January transfer window.
Carvalho had arguably his best game yet for the club in their win over Southampton in midweek. The 21-year-old scored what proved to be the winner at St Mary’s.
Fabio Carvalho lauded after brilliant goal for Hull
And he has now made it two from two, after breaking the deadlock against the Baggies. It was definitely a brilliant strike from the attacking midfielder. It was a wicked hit from outside the box. Alex Palmer was able to get a good hand on the ball, but still unable to keep it out of the back of the net.

“Well, wow! That’s all I’ve got. That is stunning,” he said.
“What a strike. Hull City have taken the second most shots from outside the penalty area in the whole Championship. Sometimes that makes you wonder if they’re not quite being as creative as they can be. But then when you see something like that fly in the roof, you think, well why not?”
Liverpool starlet showing his potential again
It was imperative that Liverpool sent Carvalho somewhere where he was going to play regularly in the second-half of the season. His loan at RB Leipzig simply did not work out.
But it does appear that the former Fulham youngster is regaining his confidence. And Hull are right in the play-off mix in the Championship. The draw with West Brom leaves Liam Rosenior’s side sixth in the table. And they have taken 10 points from their last four games.
Of course, there is a lot of uncertainty surrounding Liverpool heading into the summer. But Carvalho is doing all he can to make sure that he returns with some real momentum.
