Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp lauded the “outstanding” Wataru Endo following the Reds’ victory over Sheffield United on Wednesday.
The Liverpool manager, speaking on Amazon Prime Video Sport, said the £16million man was “everywhere” in the Premier League encounter at Bramall Lane.
Endo was bright for Liverpool against Fulham, paving the way for the dramatic late win with his 87th-minute equaliser and energetic performance.
He built on that display off the bench by making the starting XI against the Blades and doing well once again en route to a 2-0 victory.

“Wataru Endo. Wow,” said Klopp after the game. “He was outstanding. He was everywhere. He really helped us a lot.”
Wataru Endo finding his feet at Liverpool
It’s great to see Endo starting to go up the gears at Liverpool following his move from Stuttgart in the summer.
The 31-year-old has needed a little time to find his feet at Anfield. That’s not surprising really, considering how intense the Premier League is.
Most players – particularly those coming from another league – seem to be needing a little time to get used to the pace and intensity of the English top flight.
Endo came to Liverpool with a lot of experience and talent, not to mention leadership qualities, having captained Stuttgart and Japan.
Hopefully he can keep up the good work and continue helping Liverpool to potential glory this season. So far, the Reds have done well on all fronts.
