Jurgen Klopp is leaving Liverpool this summer.
The German announced last month that he’s going to be departing Anfield at the end of the season, and many are wondering what will be next for the legendary coach.
Klopp has made it clear that he wants a 12 month break from football, but beyond that, we don’t know his plans.
Many have linked him with the Germany job, but speaking on The Stand with Eamon Dunphy, John Giles has made a different prediction about Klopp.
Indeed, Giles says that Saudi Arabia will play a part in Klopp’s future, claiming that he will be their number one target by the time his break ends.

Giles made a prediction about Klopp.
“I’d say after 12 months he might want to do it again, and he’s young enough to do it. I’ll just make a prediction for the future if I can, I would say that Saudi Arabia will come into it in a big way,” Giles said.
“I’m only making that as an extra. He’s a financially secure guy, but I wouldn’t be surprised if after 12 months when he’s had his rest, the Saudi group will be after him as a number one pick.”
Money talks
As much as we hate to say it, this could be an avenue that Klopp ultimately does explore.
Klopp is all about football, but money talks in this game.
As Giles says, Klopp will already be financially secure, but the same could’ve been said about Steven Gerrard over the summer when he made his move to Saudi.
We really don’t like the direction this sport is going in this regard, but the reality is that more and more big names in football will be attracted to Saudi in the coming years.
