Alan Shearer has now been commenting on the outstanding work rate of one Liverpool player after this weekend’s much needed win.
Jurgen Klopp knew his Liverpool side couldn’t afford to slip up against Brighton & Hove Albion, and therefore didn’t enjoy the best of starts.

Perhaps Roberto De Zerbi’s approach to the game impressed some of the higher-ups at Liverpool, demonstrating the confidence he can install in his players.
Simon Adingra for example was excellent on the wing, causing Klopp’s back line all kinds of problems.
But ultimately, as is often the case, Mohamed Salah was able to win the game through his sheer attacking perseverance, even if he did look slightly rusty.
And whilst Salah worked hard, it was a different Liverpool player that Alan Shearer was praising in his ‘Team of the Week’.
Shearer commented on Adingra’s strong display, and hailed Conor Bradley’s efforts both defensively and going forward.
Alan Shearer left blown away by Conor Bradley’s work rate for Liverpool on Sunday
Conor Bradley was once again at right back in the absence of Trent Alexander-Arnold, and proved that he’s more than just an understudy.
And as well as his ability to carry the ball up the pitch, Shearer was simply just so impressed with the Liverpool defender’s work rate.
He said: “Worked his socks off with some non-stop running in a great battle with Simon Adingra on the right.”

The 20-year-old was Liverpool’s highest rated player winning 12 duels, making six tackles and also two clearances.
And it wasn’t just his defending which caught the eye either, with Bradley also playing four key passes and completing four successful dribbles.
An all around triumph by the Liverpool defender, and Shearer was right to credit his work rate.
Alexis Mac Allister also deserves praise for special showing
Incidentally, Shearer did also include Alexis Mac Allister in his team, a performance that was impossible to ignore.
The former Brighton man was instrumental in the comeback, playing so many clever passes.
Mac Allister was thriving in the pocket, with Wataru Endo playing a more defensive role behind him.
And perhaps that is ultimately Mac Allister’s best role for Liverpool, a player with so much to offer going forward.
All that being said, and with the title race in mind, Gary Neville has recently noticed a big difference between Mikel Arteta and Jurgen Klopp.
