Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah has given his verdict on Harvey Elliott.
Salah has noted what he is always trying to do with Elliott.
So, what has Mohamed Salah said about his Liverpool teammate Harvey Elliott? Let’s take a look.
Mohamed Salah praises Liverpool teammate Harvey Elliott
Well, Mohamed Salah has been raving about his Liverpool teammate Harvey Elliott.
Elliott scored the winning goal for Liverpool against Crystal Palace. The winger found the back of the net with an effort from outside the box. It came in injury time.
Liverpool won the match 2-1. Palace finished the game with 10 men. Jamie Carragher was hugely impressed with Elliott.
Egyptian forward Salah also scored in the match, and he noted how good Elliott is and how much he is pushing him to do even better.
Salah told TNT Sports about Elliott: “He’s a good kid. He’s learning, I always try to push him in the gym and also practice after training and just do something extra because without working hard, we would not achieve something big.
“But he’s having a good career and I’m sure he can have much better than that, but he just needs to put in the work and I’m happy for him.
“I’m always next to his side and always tell him, if he wants to speak then come to me. Sometimes you need to work as a coach for young players but I’m happy about it.”
Harvey Elliott could become a Liverpool star
In my view, Harvey Elliott could become a star for Liverpool in years to come. He is only 20 now and has time on his hands to improve and get better. The winger is “special”.
Elliott, who can also operate as an attacking midfielder, already has a good amount of experience in the Premier League.

Elliott is a very young player. He is not a regular in the Liverpool starting lineup, but he is coming off the bench and making an impact.
I believe that the winger will continue to progress and develop if he does what he is doing right now.
We know that Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp develops and improves players. Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane became world class under him.
So, there is a very good chance that Elliott could develop into a star player under Klopp in the coming years.
