126 Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has given his verdict on the performance of Trent Alexander-Arnold against Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.
Klopp was hugely impressed by the display produced by Alexander-Arnold in the FA Cup tie on Sunday.

Well, Liverpool beat Premier League rivals Arsenal 2-0 away from home at the Emirates Stadium in the third round of the FA Cup on Sunday.
An own goal from Jakub Kiwior in the 80th minute saw Liverpool take the lead. Luis Diaz doubled the advantage for the Reds in the fifth minute of injury time.
Trent Alexander-Arnold started the match for Liverpool. The 25-year-old was deployed at right-back, but the England international often drifted into midfield.
Alexander-Arnold came close to scoring in the first half when his effort hit the bar. It was the defender’s free-kick that glanced in off Kiwior’s head for the opening goal. Danny Murphy was impressed.
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has praised the defender for his effort and leadership.
Klopp told Liverpool’s official website: “There’s still a lot of space [to improve] but it’s outstanding already. It’s great.
“He enjoys it, obviously, and you could see that on the pitch today. One-nil up, he spoke to everybody without me shouting at him and telling him he has to speak and make sure we are now really compact and stuff like this. My God, what a player! Good game. “Age-wise he is there, he can do that and he did it.”
My View: Liverpool could have a very successful season
In my opinion, Liverpool could have a hugely successful season. I believe that there is a very good chance that the Reds could win four major competitions.
Liverpool are three points clear at the top of the Premier League table at the moment. They have progressed to the semi-finals of the Carabao Cup.
Jurgen Klopp’s side are now into the fourth round of the FA Cup, and they also have UEFA Europa League knockout football to look forward to.
Who knows, Liverpool could win the Premier League, the FA Cup, the Carabao Cup and the UEFA Europa League this season.
