Mamuka Jugeli – the agent of Napoli No.77 Khvicha Kvaratskhelia – has been speaking about his client’s future after he was backed to join Liverpool.
The 54-year-old made the comments when speaking to Gazzetta dello Sport.
So, what was said about Khvicha Kvaratskhelia after the Napoli No.77 was backed to join Liverpool? Let’s take a look…
Khvicha Kvaratskhelia update
Well, the Georgia international’s agent failed to confirm that his client would be staying with Napoli.
Jugeli said: “In regards to the future, we are talking with the club, we will see what will happen. He will leave if another club presents an offer that the management will not be able to refuse.
“I can’t talk about a specific amount, these are (Aurelio) De Laurentiis’s assessments. I protect Khvicha’s contract and work. Everything will be clear at the end of May.”
It comes after David Webb – Assistant Manager to Willy Sagnol at Georgia – backed Kvaratskhelia to play for Liverpool when speaking on the Transfer Gossip podcast.

If Liverpool did end up signing the 23-year-old this summer, it would be quite the way to kickstart life after Jurgen Klopp at Anfield.
Kvaratskhelia has blossomed into one of Europe’s best attackers since joining Napoli for just £9m in a deal from Dinamo Batumi back in July 2022.
The Georgian remarkably scored 14 goals and provided 17 assists in 43 appearances last season, firing Napoli to a first Serie A title in 33 years alongside Victor Osimhen.
In 35 appearances so far this term, Kvaratskhelia is on course to hit double figures in both metrics once again with nine goals and six assists to his name.
Liverpool would cause chaos with Khvicha Kvaratskhelia
If Liverpool did actually sign Kvaratskhelia to play on the left – with Darwin Nunez down the middle and Mohamed Salah on the right – it would cause chaos for opponents.

All three are incredibly direct forwards who excel when it comes to dribbling.
In fact – as WhoScored shows – Kvaratskhelia is actually a more prolific dribbler than both Salah and Nunez, averaging 2.8 successful dribbles in Serie A this season, whereas the Egyptian and the Uruguayan average 0.9 and 0.5 respectively in the Premier League.
If Liverpool managed to field the trio together, it would certainly be a sight to behold.
