Liverpool beat Fulham 4-3 on Sunday in the most dramatic fashion.
The Reds scored two late goals to rescue victory from the jaws of defeat at Anfield, and, as you can imagine, Anfield was rocking after the game.
Everyone inside the stadium was buzzing. However, according to Harvey Elliott, there was one player who wasn’t too happy after the game.
Indeed, speaking on the Kelly and Wrighty Show, Elliott stated that Mohamed Salah wasn’t too happy after the game as he failed to get a goal at home against Fulham, in a game where he could’ve hit his 200th Liverpool goal and his 150th Premier League goal.

Elliott shared how the £34m player was feeling was after the game.
“Yeah, you know Mo always wants to score, but he got an assist and even in games where he doesn’t score he’s popping up with an assist or something. He wasn’t the happiest, but as I said before, it can’t just be the forwards who score, we all need to chip in, it may not have been Mo’s day, but the other boys delivered,” Elliott said.
Salah has an elite mentality
In a weird kind of way, this is exactly how you want your attacking players to act after this kind of game.
Yes, the team won, but Salah wasn’t at his best, and it sounds as though he is striving for improvement.
The Egyptian won’t settle for second-best, and, by the sounds of hit, he’ll be looking to right the wrongs of Sunday’s showing in his next game.
Salah is the type of player who lives and breathes goals, and when he doesn’t score, he won’t rest until he’s set the record straight, especially as he didn’t make a massive impact against Man City either.
Don’t be shocked if Salah heads into the Sheffield United game with a huge chip on his shoulder and looks to absolutely decimate the Blades.
