Liverpool have looked rather shaky in recent weeks.
The Reds seem to have lost their form at the worst possible time, they’ve been dumped out of the FA Cup, they’re on the verge of elimination from the Europa League, and they’ve lost control in the Premier League title race.
So, what’s going wrong at Liverpool right now? Well, there are a few issues that probably need addressing, and according to Brian Kerr, one major problem is down the right side.

Speaking on Virgin Media Sports, Kerr stated that Conor Bradley is becoming a bit of a problem for Liverpool.
The pundit says that while the ‘brilliant’ youngster is playing well, his tendency to roam up the pitch is leaving that right-flank exposed and certain teams are finding it easy to exploit.
“I think Jota being back in the squad will make a big difference and Trent too. Young Bradley has played a good part in recent weeks, but I’ve felt they’ve been vulnerable in the right-back position because Bradley does so much roaming as an attacker when Salah goes inside and over the last few games teams have tried to exploit it and some have been successful with it,” Kerr said.
Trent Alexander-Arnold won’t fix this problem
This is worrying for Liverpool.
Kerr suggests that the return of Trent Alexander-Arnold will make a big difference in this regard, but the reality is that Alexander-Arnold has the same problems at right-back.
The England international absolutely loves to bomb forward and join the attack just as much as Bradley does, and that lack of cover down the right wing will still be there for Liverpool to deal with.
The Reds do need to find a way to get back on track, because their recent results don’t exactly make Jurgen Klopp’s side look like champions-elect.
