Tony Cascarino has claimed that West Ham United’s Jarrod Bowen is not far off Liverpool star Mohamed Salah.
Speaking on The Game Podcast, Cascarino labelled the West Ham winger as the ‘claret and blue Mo Salah’.

The Saudi Pro League outfit are widely expected to return for the 31-year-old next summer, which could leave Liverpool searching for the man to fill his shoes.
West Ham star Michail Antonio has already claimed Bowen would be the ‘perfect replacement’ for Salah.
Now, Cascarino has claimed that Bowen isn’t actually that far behind Salah in terms of ability.
Cascarino says Liverpool target Bowen is almost as good as Salah
Speaking on The Game, the talkSPORT pundit lauded Bowen and compared him to the Liverpool star.
“I think they’ve got the claret and blue Mo Salah in Jarrod Bowen,” Cascarino said. “He’s just one of them players who will get goals. He’ll run all day.
“Obviously, Mo Salah is at an unbelievable level but he isn’t far behind him for his tenacity, his drive to get goals. He creates problems for other players to exploit.”

The 26-year-old is enjoying an exceptional season so far though, having netted eight times in 12 Premier League games.
But the Englishman is yet to prove he can perform at the highest level, something Salah has managed for many years at Anfield.
Of course, if Bowen does earn a big move over the coming months then it will be interesting to see how he performs.
And if Salah does leave Liverpool next summer, the West Ham star would be a decent option for Klopp.
