Liverpool have had their fair share of injury issues in recent weeks and sadly many of their players still remain on the sidelines.

Now, with the international break under way, the Reds camp will no doubt be sweating over the fitness of those players who have linked up with their national teams.

For instance, Liverpool defender Ibrahima Konate linked up with France and was pictured in training on Monday after missing out on several Reds games.

Now, another Liverpool player currently out on international duty in wake of fitness issues has been spotted in a training session with his country, namely Luis Diaz.

On Tuesday, the Colombian national team’s X account posted a photo of the Liverpool star alongside his compatriots, all three of them smiling in training.

The picture was captioned: “If the image doesn’t load, it’s due to excess quality.”

Liverpool winger Luis Diaz spotted in Colombia training after injury scare

Diaz suffered a groin issue during Liverpool’s dramatic 4-3 loss to Manchester United in the FA Cup on Sunday.

Klopp said after the game, as per the Liverpool Echo: “Now, the boys go on international duty, they have to recover.

“We hope they come back healthy. We had some problems. Lucho (Diaz) felt his groin, Darwin his hamstring, hopefully it is not [serious]. And Cody Gakpo has twisted his ankle I think.”

In Diaz’s case, it doesn’t look as though he’s having any issues, so fingers crossed things stay the same for the ‘unbelievable‘ winger throughout the international break.
