Didier Drogba has sent a message to Liverpool’s Mo Salah and at the same time claimed he was right all along about the Reds forward.
Salah scored his 150th Premier League goal yesterday to take him in and among some of the all-time greats in the league’s history.
Salah is now level with another Liverpool legend, Michael Owen, and the next players in his sights are Jermain Defoe and Robbie Fowler, who have 162 and 163 respectively.

And taking to his X account on social media, Drogba has harked back to a tweet he sent about Salah back in 2017, where insisted the best was yet to come from Salah.
Drogba and Salah two of the all-time greats
When you look at how good some African players have been who have graced the Premier League, it’s quite the compliment to say both Salah and Drogba are probably the best two to ever do it.
Both have been superb and the goals and achievements they’ve got are massive.
Salah is, of course, still going and could be on course to overtake some of the players in that top ten scorers list.
Yesterday was just another example of how good Salah is and how much of a difference he makes to this Liverpool team in massive moments.
Salah’s goals, not to mention the assists he’s got, make him one of the best players to ever step foot in the Premier League, never mind just Anfield. The fact he only cost £34m, too, is just remarkable as well.
Jose Enrique has said that Salah eclipses Luis Suarez in a Reds shirt as well, and it’s hard to argue with such comments in all honesty.
