There are so many words you can use to describe Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah.
World-class, electric, prolific, incredible, fast, strong – take your pick of adjectives.
The Egyptian is genuinely one of world football’s superstars, and his legacy in the Premier League is already more than secure.
There are so many things to say about Salah, but speaking on the PFA’s YouTube channel, Trent Alexander-Arnold has used just one word to describe the winger.
Indeed, Alexander-Arnold was asked to use just one word to describe the attacker, and he chose ‘consistent’.

The right-back spoke about his Liverpool teammate.
“Describe Mo Salah in one word?” Alexander-Arnold was asked.
“Consistent,” Alexander-Arnold replied.
So consistent
Perhaps the most underrated part of Salah’s game is his consistency.
He never seems to have a spell where he’s not scoring goals. He’s been at Liverpool for seven years now and he’s scored at least 20 goals in every single season except for this one – and even then he’s on 18 already.
Salah may well be the most consistent attacker we’ve ever seen in the Premier League, even Alan Shearer had seasons where he wasn’t scoring tons of goals, while Harry Kane blew hot and cold at times too.
Salah has just been world-class from day one at Liverpool, and the scary thing is that he’s not showing any signs of slowing down.
Liverpool’s top players have had bad spells over the years, Virgil van Dijk wasn’t at his best last season, Trent Alexander-Arnold has had times where his defensive issues have come to light, but Salah has been there scoring goals at an incredible rate every single season.
The winger is in the conversation for the best Premier League player of all-time, and he might just be the most consistent player we’ve ever seen in this league in an attacking sense.
