Liverpool full-back Andrew Robertson has been praised by Tim Sherwood for his energy and work-rate on the pitch.
The pundit, speaking on the No Tippy Tappy Football podcast, described the Reds star as a player with “incredible energy”.
Robertson has been an absolute revelation since joining Liverpool for in an initial £8million deal from Hull City back in 2017.
The 29-year-old has made 279 appearances for the Reds registering 63 assists and seven goals. He also captains Scotland and has won 62 caps for his nation.

Liverpool star Andrew Robertson lauded by Tim Sherwood
On The No Tippy Tappy Football Podcast, Sherwood and Harte spoke about how the role of a full-back has developed in recent years.
“That position is evolving all of the time,” said Sherwood. “I mean, it’s changed now from five years ago where it used to be up and down, getting in the final third more than you come back.
“Now they’re pushing inverted as well into midfield, they’re almost being able to be the extra midfield player.
“It’s moving all the time, them full-back areas. They’re the players who get the most touches in the game you know and the effect, see the assists…
“And that Robertson, I mean, incredible energy up and down for Liverpool, and the assists, and him and Trent on the other side.”
Robertson could have cost £80million and he’d still have been a bargain for Liverpool, considering how much he has given to the club over the years.
But to think he cost less than £10million, that puts him as arguably one of the best bargains in the history of the English game.
