Liverpool star Mohamed Salah has been in the news a lot over the last few days, and Dejan Lovren has now sent him a message.
The 31-year-old suffered a hamstring injury while playing for Egypt in the African Cup of Nations this month. He is set to be sidelined for a few weeks and his rehabilitation is scheduled to take place at Liverpool, which has caused a bit of an uproar.
Dejan Lovren sends message to Liverpool star Mohamed Salah
Mohamed Salah is the best player at Liverpool and Egypt.
The winger has been outstanding for club and country over the years, and one of his most impressive traits is his availability. He rarely ever gets injured.
Sadly, the £34 million (Sky Sports) Egyptian suffered a hamstring tear this month, and Liverpool have called him back from the African Cup of Nations to help him return to full fitness.
That led to accusations that Salah ‘plotted his departure‘ from AFCON, and a lot has been said on social media about his commitment to Egypt.
The Liverpool star took to Instagram to have his say yesterday. He revealed that he has started his rehabilitation and is working really hard to rejoin Egypt’s national team.
Former Liverpool star Dejan Lovren showed him some love in the replies. He wrote: “When the hate don’t work, they start telling lies. Keep strong brate!”

It’s absolutely ridiculous that Mohamed Salah’s commitment and loyalty to Egypt have been questioned over the last few days.
The 31-year-old has a tear in his hamstring, and the most important thing now for both Egypt and Liverpool is to get him back to full fitness.
The two parties agreed for the winger to return to Merseyside so that he gets the best possible treatment that would help speed up his recovery.
That is absolutely the right thing to do, and people who are questioning Salah’s commitment need to stop. It’s completely unnecessary and is helping nobody.
