Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp provided a fitness update on three of his players after last night’s win over West Ham United.

Klopp will be very pleased with his side’s third victory on the bounce last night.

However, the 55-year-old was forced to make several substitutions after spoke about them after the match to Amazon Prime.

Darwin Nunez scored the only goal of the game in the first half to move Liverpool up to seventh in the Premier League.

However, Klopp made a triple substitution just before the hour mark that may concern some Liverpool fans.

Speaking after the match, Klopp suggested that the changes he made were purely precautionary.

“Thiago stretched once on the pitch which for me is a warning sign,” Klopp said.

“We have to react to everything and thought okay we have to change him.

“Darwin half time, everyone is saying it’s fine and fine but when somebody is five minutes on the bed I’m concerned as well.

“It was a precaution. Then we needed a bit more size, as immediately when (Said) Benrahma is coming on, we get a bit small against West Ham and set pieces are a massive feature for them.

“They are all okay, I think we picked them all in the right moment.”

It’s a big boost for Liverpool to hear that all three players will be available at the weekend.

Nunez looks to be finding his feet in front of goal, and Klopp has called the Uruguayan a ‘massive talent’.

Thiago has had his fair share of injury issues since arriving at Liverpool, and any sign of a grimace will terrify fans.

He’s key to how Liverpool set up in the middle of the park, especially if Klopp switches back to a two-man midfield.

It’s been less than two weeks since Thiago was last absent from Liverpool training.

Fabio Carvalho has been a bright spark since arriving from Fulham in the summer, and played well again last night.

Klopp’s positive fitness update is the cherry on top of the cake after an important three points.
