Robbie Fowler has made a comment about Liverpool-bound Arne Slot that has annoyed a few people in the Netherlands.
The Reds’ search for a new manager seems to have finally come to an end.
Feyenoord boss Slot is all set to succeed Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool, with Fabrizio Romano claiming yesterday that everything is signed and the deal is done.
Slot will have huge shoes to fill at Anfield.
Klopp is one of the best managers in world football, and replacing him will not be easy, even though Liverpool have a very good squad.
Fowler had his say on Slot recently, and his comments have not gone down well.

Arne Slot has been a really popular manager for over a year now.
The Dutchman was a wanted man last summer as well, and it looked like Tottenham Hotspur were ready to appoint him as their new manager.
However, that move collapsed and Slot stayed at Feyenoord.
Liverpool made him their main target after they missed out on Xabi Alonso, and it looks like it’s only a matter of time before he is announced as the new Reds boss.
Speaking about Slot, Robbie Fowler recently admitted that he had no idea who Slot was and had to search him on Google to find out.
“I’ll be honest, I hadn’t a clue Slot was even in the conversation among the power brokers who run Liverpool.
“He wasn’t someone who jumped out at me as a candidate, Fowler wrote. “In fact, I knew nothing about Slot at all or the way he plays and, probably like many people, I dived into Google to check him out.”
Dutch journalist and pundit on VI, Suleyman Ozturk, was shocked by Fowler’s comments.
He said on VI Uncensored on Voetbal International’s YouTube channel: “That you don’t know Arne Slot, for me that’s a reason to take you off the air.
“Whatever country you live or work in, that’s just crazy.
“That Slot is not known to the Liverpool public, I understand that. You’re a Liverpool fan and you don’t sit down to watch Feyenoord, then you’d have a strange hobby.
“If you don’t know someone, you go and see what he looks like. He has since been called an Erik ten Hag 2.0, but you have to immerse yourself in him.”
The four things that convinced Liverpool to appoint Arne Slot
Finding Jurgen Klopp‘s successor was never going to be easy for Liverpool.
There are very few managers in the world who are similar to the German, which is why it has taken over three months for the Reds to find their man.
So, why did Liverpool choose Arne Slot over many others who were linked with the job?
The Guardian reveal that Slot has demonstrated four really admirable traits during his time at Feyenoord, and that convinced Liverpool that he’s the one.
Those four traits are:
Track record of improving young talent Achieving success on a relatively modest budget European experience A style of play that is not a dramatic departure from Jürgen Klopp’sThe post 'That's just crazy': Pundit shocked after hearing what Robbie Fowler has just said about Arne Slot appeared first on TBR Football.
