Fabio Carvalho is in a very difficult situation at Liverpool right now.
The young midfielder has just been recalled from a difficult loan spell with RB Leipzig, and now he needs to find somewhere else to ply his trade.
Carvalho is a fantastic young prospect, but over the past 18 months, his career has gone slightly off the rails it has to be said.
So, where can Carvalho go next? Well, speaking on the Ranks FC Ultras Podcast, Dean Jones has suggested that the player could go back to where it all began and re-join Fulham on loan.

Jones spoke about the ‘special’ Liverpool youngster.
“He’s already proven it in the Championship, so I don’t think he needs to do that, going back to Fulham, where they know what makes him tick and he still knows some of the players there. I think that’s a good move for him, I know I’m biased, but I think Carvalho going back to Fulham is one that could have legs,” Jones said.
Best place for him
Fabio Carvalho probably does have a number of clubs he could join on loan this month, but we have to admit that Fulham could be the best place for him.
Marco Silva was the manager who gave Carvalho his true breakthrough at Craven Cottage, so he knows how to get the best out of him, while, as Jones says, he also knows many of the players that are currently at Fulham.
Much like any young player, Carvalho plays his best football when he’s happy and comfortable, and the fact that he’s been at Fulham before, knows the manager and knows the players will help him find his feet once again after a very turbulent time both on Merseyside and in Germany.
This is a move that genuinely could suit all parties.
