Nico Williams is making a serious name for himself over in Spain.
The winger tore Barcelona to shreds earlier this week in the Copa del Rey, netting a fantastic goal in extra-time to eliminate the Spanish giants.
Of course, a great performance against Barcelona has led to plenty of speculation around Williams’ future once again.
Speaking on the Ranks FC Ultras Podcast, Dean Jones has shared what he knows about Williams’ future, and he says that a big move could be on the horizon this summer, naming Arsenal, Liverpool, Bayern Munich, Barcelona and Real Madrid as potential suitors.

Jones shared what he knows about the promising attacker.
“Really interesting, Arsenal don’t have €45m, so they can’t sign him even though I do believe that release clause is accurate. Aston Villa have been linked with him a lot and I think they’ll want to knuckle down on this one now and get this deal done because if Villa can’t get Nico Williams to agree to something now the chance could pass them by because suddenly you have Liverpool, Arsenal, Bayern Munich, and I’ve seen Real Madrid, Barcelona links, it feels like Nico Williams will skip a stage of development and join one of the big clubs. €45m is what I was asked but it’s £43m,” Jones said.
Exciting
This is a very exciting rumour to say the least.
Williams is one of the brightest young attackers in world football right now, and if he were to join either Arsenal or Liverpool he’d be a fantastic addition to the Premier League.
Whether he’s acting as either a replacement for Mo Salah or a backup for Bukayo Saka, he would potentially be a fantastic addition to either side.
That £43m release clause will be very tempting come the summer, that’s for sure.
