Liverpool are arguably the best club in the Premier League when it comes to giving young talents a pathway into the first team.
Over the years, we’ve seen the likes of Trent Alexander-Arnold, Curtis Jones and Conor Bradley become established first-teamers after rising through the Reds ranks.
And whenever Liverpool have had an injury crisis, Jurgen Klopp has called up academy talents who have stepped up, such as Nat Phillips and Rhys Williams.
This summer, the Reds will be boosted by the return of a top talent who is making a real name for himself away from Anfield on loan this term.
The player in question is Fabio Carvalho, who is currently at Hull City and has registered five goals in 13 outings for the Tigers.

Carvalho joined Liverpool in 2022 after a breakthrough season during Fulham’s Championship promotion campaign.
In his maiden season at Anfield, the 21-year-old made 21 appearances for the Reds in all competitions, but only featured for 638 minutes of game time.
Carvalho opted to move on loan to RB Leipzig last summer for more playing time, but didn’t have much luck and returned to Anfield before heading to the MKM Stadium.
Although Hull are in poor form at present, the Liverpool gem is doing well for himself, scoring in the 3-1 loss to Leeds United on Monday.
Carvalho equalised for the Tigers, who looked on course for a draw until the Whites scored a late penalty before adding a third deep into injury time.
What have Tyler Morton and Anthony Elanga said to Liverpool gem Fabio Carvalho?
The Reds talent took to Instagram to share pictures of himself on the pitch celebrating the goal, and the likes of Tyler Morton and Anthony Elanga praised him in the comments.
Fellow Liverpool talent Morton wrote “special player” while Nottingham Forest’s Elangs wrote “ma boy”.
Carvalho seems to be on the right track at Hull, so let’s see what happens in the summer once he reports back at Liverpool.
It would be good to see the new Reds manager give him another chance to prove himself at Anfield.
