130 Jarrod Bowen has been picking his dream five-a-side team.
The West Ham attacker was speaking to the Premier League’s YouTube channel about which players he’d pick to dominate any game of five-a-side.
Understandably, he chose the likes of Harry Kane, Lucas Paqueta, Alisson and Phil Foden, but he had a bit of a dilemma in the defence.
Indeed, Bowen says that he was torn between Virgil van Dijk and John Stones for the defensive spot on his team, but ultimately, he chose the Liverpool star, claiming that nobody could get past him.

“Defender?” Bowen was asked.
“I’ve got two that come into my mind, Van Dijk and John Stones. Stones in a five-a-side, his blocking of shots is incredible, but Van Dijk would just be that solid defender, nobody is getting past him, Van Dijk I’ll go for, yeah, Van Dijk,” Bowen said.

Bowen is right to pick Van Dijk here.
The Dutchman would be an absolute joke in any five-a-side game. He’s got it all.
He’s big, strong, fast and brilliant on the ball, there really isn’t anything more you would want in your small-sided game.
John Stones may be a bit more technical, but he doesn’t have that defensive presence in the same way Van Dijk does.
The Dutchman can sometimes be a one-man back four, and in a small-sided game, he’d be an absolute nightmare to play against.
The defender is a truly world-class player, and Liverpool are very lucky to have him.
