Anton Ferdinand has shared who he would pick between Gabriel Martinelli and Luis Diaz in a combined lineup involving Arsenal and Liverpool players.
Ferdinand was speaking on The Take On after Danny Murphy had previously suggested that he would pick the Liverpool front three ahead of Arsenal’s attack.
Gabriel Martinelli is yet to hit the heights of last season. He has only scored three goals in all competitions so far, including one in the Premier League.

Luis Diaz meanwhile, has endured a horrible couple of months away from the pitch. And he has perhaps not been able to realise his full potential at Anfield due to injury in the past. But he has still managed to score four goals across the Premier League and the Europa League this term.

“I’m going to say this, I love Diaz. I love what he stands for, everything he does, he’s got that star quality. Superstar quality I think. And he’s come in and filled Mane’s shoes and done it really well,” he told The Take On.
“But Martinelli man, seriously, he gets me off my seat.”
Both players are yet to even hit their peak
The scary thing about Martinelli is that he is only 22. He has already made more of a century of appearances for the Gunners in the Premier League. And he is only going to improve, particularly in an Arsenal side which is getting better and better.
If Diaz can enjoy some luck with injury, he is going to be a huge player for Liverpool in their own Premier League title push. He has 11 goals in 42 league games since his £37 million move from Porto.
It seems fair to say that we have not yet seen the best of either player just now, which makes the years to come incredibly exciting.
