Jurgen Klopp is leaving Liverpool and the scramble to try and come up with a suitable name as his successor is already starting.
At the moment, Xabi Alonso and club legend Steven Gerrard are the names getting the most mentions.
However, others could be the frame as well and with so many good quality coaches in the game right now, the Reds could be in for a tough choice.
Of course, whoever replaces Klopp is going to need a big personality and they don’t come much bigger than Atletico Madrid manager, Diego Simeone.
And taking to X just now, former Liverpool forward Ryan Babel has suggested the Simeone could be the man to take the reins from Klopp.
Simeone has won plenty of trophies with Atletico, including La Liga and the Europa League.
Quite whether he’d be willing to make the jump from Spain to Anfield, or even if the club would want him, remains open to debate.

Much like Klopp, Simeone has punched above his weight in Spain for some time now and it’s no wonder a team like Liverpool might be a suggestion for him.
However, his foundations in Madrid have mainly been built on a solid defence and a way of playing that stifles the opposition.
Sure, he’s had exciting players in the final third under his wing in the likes of Griezmann and Felix for example, but overall, it’s been built on being solid.
In terms of passion, Simeone has that in abundance and if Liverpool want to win, then the Argentinian might be a good option.
But right now, it’s hard to see happening and other names, such as Xabi Alonso, are bound to be higher on the list.
