The 23-year-old Brazilian could find minutes harder to come by in Madrid with Kylian Mbappe set to arrive.
Liverpool’s summer transfer plans heading into the 2024 offseason may be something of a mystery, but many believe there could be change on order for the Reds’ forward line after a season that has seen the attack at times struggle to convert chances.
Meanwhile in Spain, superstar French forward Kylian Mbappe is set to join Real Madrid in the summer, adding to Los Blancos wealth of attacking options and leading some in that country to speculate that somebody might have to be sold to make room.
Into that realm of speculation and assumption, Diario Madridista claim Liverpool have approached Madrid over the possible transfer of Rodrygo Goes, with the Reds’ said to have been seen their offer of €120M for the 23-year-old Brazilian winger rejected.
As the story goes, Liverpool are the fifth big European side to make an approach to gauge Rodrygo’s availability—and the first willing to put an offer on the table—with Manchester City and United, Arsenal, and Paris Saint-Germain also supposedly interested.
Rodrygo made 48 appearances across all competitions for Madrid last season and scored 17 goals, with Diario further insisting that Madrid consider him non-transferable this summer and that the player is not seeking a move away from the Spanish giants.
