The Italian winger has struggled for game time since moving from Juventus.

Per Daniele Longo of Calcio Mercato, Liverpool FC’s Federico Chiesa could be head back to Italy in the summer, with Napoli manager Antonio Conte said to be an admirer of the player. Chiesa also has a positive relationship with Napoli sporting director Giovanni Manna.

Liverpool would reportedly also be open to loaning him out, though Napoli have consider the winger’s form and injury worries of late.

Since he moved to Merseyside for €15m last summer, Chiesa has barely gotten on the pitch. Currently, he has only played 387 minutes in all competitions, and scored two goals, including one in Liverpool’s League Cup final loss. In the mid-week game before that, where manager Arne Slot opted to bring on a half-fit Cody Gakpo ahead of the Italian when Liverpool were desperately chasing a goal that would have won the tie.
