Ronaldo has now predicted who will win the Premier League title this season

Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City are currently embroiled in what may be the closest title race we’ve seen in years.

Anfield, the Emirates and the Etihad are all viable destinations for English football’s biggest prize, and it’s so tough to call who will win the league.

Mikel Arteta, Jurgen Klopp and Pep Guardiola will all be hoping to win the league this term, but, of course, there can only be one victor when all is said and done.

Arsenal currently lead the way, but with Liverpool and City both hot on their tails, it’s hard to call this one.

We’ve heard many predictions from many pundits over the last few weeks, but now, one of the biggest names in football history has stuck his neck on the line and tried to call this title race.

Indeed, speaking to The Mail on TikTok, Ronaldo has tried to predict who will win the league this season, and he’s opted for Manchester City.

Ronaldo picks Man City to win the Premier League

The Brazilian spoke about who he thinks will win the league.

“And who will win the Premier League?

“City,” Ronaldo said.

Been there and done it

We can absolutely understand why Ronaldo has picked City as the favourites here.

Pep Guardiola’s side have been there and done it before, while Arsenal and Liverpool can’t exactly say the same.

This Arsenal side have never tasted success in this way, and while Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool were league champions back in 2020, it’s been four years and there’s been a lot of change at Anfield in that time.

The only team who can honestly say that they have the pedigree to go on and win the league this season is City, and while they’re third in the race right now, we wouldn’t be at all surprised if they did end up top of the pile when all is said and done.
