Report: Ryan Gravenberch left fuming about something that happened at Liverpool recently

Liverpool midfielder Ryan Gravenberch is said to be very unhappy with a decision that was made at the club in recent months.

Gravenberch, who signed for Liverpool from Bayern Munich last summer, has enjoyed a promising first season at Anfield so far.

It’s incredible to think the Dutch international is still only 21-years-old, given it feel like he’s already done so much in his career.

A huge star in Ajax’s youth ranks, the midfielder had already made 103 appearances for the club before leaving for Bayern Munich.

And although his time in Germany was cut short, it was by no means a failure, Gravenberch simply wanted a bigger role to showcase his talent.

That being said, Jurgen Klopp and Liverpool then entered the frame, and it seemed to be an easy decision.

Gravenberch has already played for the club on 31 occasions and is steadily improving his position in the squad.

However, according to a new report by Football Transfers, it seems all is not quite perfect right now.

The information states that senior players did have an ‘inkling’ that Klopp was considering leaving the club, however, the recent announcement was a huge surprise to others.

And having signed for Liverpool just months before, presumably to be guided by Klopp, Gravenberch was said to be very unhappy.

Fortunately the report does state that the Liverpool board have sorted the situation, and there isn’t expected to be any impact on the future plans of any players who were left feeling rather disappointed.

Of course, it seems as if the best thing Liverpool can therefore do is to provide reason for optimism moving forwards.

Richard Hughes is said to be beginning work immediately to find the right manager, even if he doesn’t officially start until June.

And perhaps the likes of Gravenberch may be a little more happy if Liverpool were able to tempt Xabi Alonso to the club for example.

There’s a lot of ifs and buts right now, but with Michael Edwards in place for the summer too, it’s clear that Liverpool are wasting no time in preparing for future success.
