Liverpool could face an uphill battle to sign impressive young defender Leny Yoro, with Real Madrid in the mix as well.
Yoro is emerging as one of the best up and coming defenders in Europe at the moment and Liverpool have reportedly cast admiring glances in his direction already.
The Reds are believed to like the look of Yoro, who at just 18-years-old has plenty of time to develop further and become a real force.

According to Foot Mercato, a number of other clubs, including Real Madrid and PSG, are now keen on signing Yoro. Madrid, it’s claimed, want to make Yoro their new Raphael Varane and see big things in the teenager.
Current club Lille, meanwhile, are thought to want around £43m for Yoro as they look to cash in and maximise the value of one of their biggest assets.
Real Madrid want to beat Liverpool to signing Leny Yoro
As is the case with all the top talents in Europe, it’s never going to be easy for someone like Liverpool to essentially just help themselves.
Yoro is starring and playing regularly for Lille for good reason and that’s because he really is the real deal.
Labelled a ‘majestic‘ defender by transfer expert Graeme Bailey, Yoro is always going to have Europe’s elite looking at him while he’s playing this well at such a young age.
For Liverpool, the key here might be just getting in there first. Of course, £43m is a lot of money to shell out for a teenager.
But with the likes of Van Dijk and Matip going into their 30s now and Ibou Konate struggling with injuries at times, it might be a price the Reds are forced into accepting.
Whoever doe get Yoro, though, will be getting a top player and one who could be their key pillar in defence for years.
