Liverpool have reportedly set their sights on Eintracht Frankfurt and France forward Randal Kolo Muani.
This is according to French outlet Foot Mercato, who cover the Reds’ interest in the 24-year-old.
Liverpool risk losing Roberto Firmino at the end of the season, as his contract expires in the summer.
It looks as though the Reds are keeping their eyes open for a potential replacement in case the Brazilian leaves.
Foot Mercato claims that Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur are both in pursuit of Muani.

He joined Frankfurt on a free transfer from Nantes last summer.
Muani’s impressive form has led to a spot in the France squad for the 2022 World Cup.
He has ‘undoubtedly convinced’ those who still had doubts about his ability to play at the highest level.
As a result, Europe’s top clubs are ‘keeping a close eye’ on his performances. And Liverpool are apparently among them.
Foot Mercato states that the Anfield outfit is ‘seduced’ by the player’s versatility and his ability to shine and make others shine.
Those are qualities that Jurgen Klopp and his team have ‘always highly valued’.
Big-money target
However, Liverpool wouldn’t be able to land Muani for cheap.

However, Muani’s new status and the current market could ‘push the price up further’.
Indeed, Frankfurt might even be able to get themselves €80m (£69m) if they play their cards right.
That could present problems for Liverpool, who are reportedly in pursuit of Jude Bellingham.
Although Muani is a top player, £52m – or indeed £69m – might be too much considering they have bigger priorities elsewhere.
