152 Liverpool are ready to offer £30 million to sign Khephren Thuram as the Reds look to beat Juventus to the signature of the Nice star.
That is according to a report from Tutto Juve, which notes that the Serie A side would not be able to compete with Liverpool if they made such an offer for the midfielder.
Jurgen Klopp’s side have been much more impressive this season. They certainly appear to be on their way back up the table. And that is largely down to the signings of the likes of Dominik Szoboszlai and Alexis Mac Allister.

They have also added Ryan Gravenberch and Wataru Endo to their midfield. However, the middle of the park remains a work in progress. And one of the players Liverpool still want is Thuram.
In fact, Tutto Juve is now suggesting that the Reds are ready to make a bid for the midfielder in the near future. They are prepared to put £30 million plus add-ons on the table for Khephren Thuram.
Juventus are also admirers of the ‘fantastic‘ Frenchman. However, they will not able to match Liverpool’s potential offer. And thus, it would seem that the Premier League side would be on pole position to secure his signature.
Another step in the right direction for Reds
Thuram would be another extremely exciting signing for Liverpool if they could agree a deal. He has the ability to play as a more defensive midfielder.
Meanwhile, Nice have tended to use a 4-3-3 system in the top-flight this season. So adapting to Liverpool’s style would potentially not be too difficult for the youngster.
If he realises his potential, he could prove to be a bargain. Certainly, fans have seen central midfielders move for astronomical fees in recent times. So paying £30 million for someone who has now made his France debut would definitely have the potential to be a masterstroke.
Plenty of Liverpool supporters will definitely hope that a bid does go in for Thuram at some stage.
