Liverpool are looking for a new defender and could end up making a move for Crystal Palace star, Marc Guehi, according to reports.
Guehi has been one of the standout Premier League defenders in recent times and has been linked with a host of other clubs.
The England man is thought to have already rejected the chance to sign for Tottenham or Arsenal.
However, there is still set to be a battle to sign Guehi and according to The Mirror, Liverpool are now among the clubs keen on him.

The Reds are looking for a new defender after seeing Joel Matip ruled out through injury. Ibou Konate has also struggled with injuries and form.
Guehi would be brilliant for Liverpool
Liverpool do eventually need to get their long-term centre-half options sorted out as Van Dijk won’t be around forever and Konate has not quite hit the heights yet.
In Guehi, they’d be getting a top young defender who can slot straight in and then over time, improve even more.
Guehi has been excellent for Palace since signing and it’s little wonder they might look to recoup a reported £75m for the England man.
Liverpool have paid this before as we know with the likes of Van Dijk. And they might have to do it again if they’re serious about keeping up with City at the top.
Lauded by Alan Shearer as a ‘fantastic‘ defender, Guehi would definitely have no issues settling in with the Reds.
