Liverpool are reportedly considering a move to appoint West Ham’s Tim Steidten as their new sporting director heading into the summer.
The Hammers technical director only joined the east London side last year but has already headed quite the operation for West Ham, with Steidten overseeing Declan Rice’s £100m transfer to Arsenal.
With the Irons signing the likes of James Ward-Prowse, Mohammed Kudus and Edson Alvarez, Steidten has done an incredible job in getting West Ham back into European contention under David Moyes.

With Liverpool set to undergo huge changes in the summer with the departure of Jurgen Klopp, Steidten coming in to work alongside a new manager could usher in a new era at Anfield.
And after Steidten’s success with West Ham in such a short space of time, it’s no real wonder why the Reds are interested in appointing the Irons’ technical director to oversee Liverpool’s new direction.
Tim Steidten could be exactly who Liverpool need going forward

Yet the appointment of Steidten as sporting director could be an inspired one by Liverpool, with the Premier League official working wonders at West Ham last summer.
With an impressive track record already in England having arrived from Germany, Steidten could be the man to lead Liverpool into the future post-Klopp.
And it’s clear that the Reds need to make a decision sooner rather than later, especially with other clubs already circling West Ham for Steidten.
