Liverpool now have a month to plan for the second half of the season as the World Cup break begins.
The season is paused with Jurgen Klopp knowing his side have plenty of ground to catch up on the leaders in the Premier League.
Despite Darwin Nunez’s improved form in the last few weeks, the balance of their attack doesn’t look as good as last season.

The 21-year-old attacker has been a phenomenon this season.
The Georgian has scored six goals this season and provided seven assists in Serie A already.
He would have impressed Liverpool fans with his performance at Anfield in the Champions League too.
Liverpool leading the race for Kvaratskhelia
Journalist Pete O’Rourke gave an update on Liverpool’s chase for the attacker.
“He would be a huge signing. He has probably been the most impressive player in Europe this season for Napoli, especially in the Champions League,” O’Rourke said.
“Obviously, Liverpool saw him up close in those two games in the group stages, when he gave them real problems.”
Kvaratskhelia has also found a fan in Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti.
Ancelotti was speaking about his previous club’s fantastic start to the season, and highlighted Kvaratskhelia’s performances in particular.
“It’s difficult to predict today what they can do, certainly the newcomers have made the team unpredictable,” Ancelotti said to Rai Sport.
“Is Kvaratskhelia a surprise? For those who didn’t know him, we were already following him when I was at Napoli. He is a special player.”

Liverpool now leading the race for Kvaratskhelia is a very exciting prospect for Klopp.
The winger, described as ‘breathtaking to watch’ by Owen Hargreaves, has destroyed defences across Europe this season.
He would certainly be a popular player at Anfield with his direct style.
If he was as prolific at Liverpool as he has been at Napoli, he could even end up replacing Mohamed Salah one day.
