It is just a few months until the summer window opens and clubs will be scouring the market before compiling new targets – and Omar Marmoush has emerged on Liverpool’s list, ahead of the summer.

The 25-year-old is in the form of his life, starring for German club Eintracht Frankfurt after joining the Europa Conference League side on a free transfer last summer. He has 21 goals and assist this term.

Scoring 15 times, the 29-time Egypt star has also laid on six assists and unsurprisingly, that has caught the eye of some Premier League clubs. Tottenham are said to be interested in luring him to England.

But now, a report from Bild says Spurs are not alone. Indeed, Arsenal and Liverpool are said to be in the market for Marmoush and are watching ‘very closely’. They are considering making a move for him.

A teammate of Mo Salah at National Team level, Marmoush has told Frankfurt’s website that he loves watching the Liverpool star and learns a lot from him. He says Salah is his biggest idol in football.

Eypt star Omar Marmoush now on Liverpool summer shortlist

Marmoush would be a superb signing for most Premier League clubs, but the “tireless” attacker has a big decision to make – which club suits him best. He is unlikely to start for either Arsenal or Liverpool.

If Marmoush is to continue to build on the impressive season he is having in Germany, he needs to join a side where he will get regular games. Tottenham might be able to offer him more, especially if in Europe.

Between now and the transfer market, there is likely to be more Premier League clubs considering a move for the Egyptian attacker. A big decision for Marmoush, who has a contract at Frankfurt until 2027.
