Liverpool could be the club who end up landing Fulham star Joao Palhinha in January, with his agents now pushing for a move.
Palhinha was expected to join Bayern Munich in the summer but spent deadline day in the airport before eventually being told the deal was off at the last minute.
Since then, he has impressed again. Arsenal are thought to be keen on signing him, while Bayern also remain interested as well.
However, according to TalkSPORT, staying in England could end up being Palhinha’s preference and Liverpool are mentioned as being among the clubs who are alerted to his availability.

Palhinha would set Liverpool back a cool £60m but given his performances for Fulham, Jurgen Klopp may feel it’s money well spent. Indeed, Owen Hargreaves even tipped the Reds to win the league if they did manage to sign Palhinha.
Joao Palhinha completes Liverpool midfield
It would be quite the midfield three for Liverpool if they had Palhinha, Mac Allister and Szoboszlai strutting their stuff in there.
Palhinha is well known for his ability to break up play, track runners and win tackles. He’d be ideal for Szoboszlai and Mac Allister and his signing would push the Reds further towards the title.
Much like Rodri has done at Man City, a top defensive midfielder can make all the difference.
Palhinha, who has been dubbed a ‘special‘ talent in his homeland, would offer something to this Liverpool team that they’re currently missing.
Certainly, if a deal can be done, it’s one FSG should be looking at getting in on. Especially given the fact Arsenal and more want to sign him as well.
