Liverpool are working on a deal which would potentially see Matheus Nunes move to Anfield at the end of the season, with The Telegraph reporting that the Reds are still committed to signing the Wolves star.
Nunes has not had the easiest time since moving to the Premier League in the summer. He cost Wolves a club-record £38 million. However, he is yet to score for the club, providing just one assist so far.

Liverpool preparing fresh move for Matheus Nunes
The Telegraph notes that the Reds were linked with the 24-year-old for some time before his move to Wolves. And while they missed out, they remain determined to make a bid to bring him to Merseyside.

The report adds that Liverpool have a good relationship with the Wolves hierarchy. And they have experience of doing business with Jorge Mendes, having signed Darwin Nunez in the summer.
Wolves will certainly have been given food for thought should Liverpool offer them the chance to make a profit on Nunes. He has, so far, struggled to live up to expectations in the Premier League.
Clearly, he has the potential to do a lot better. And if Liverpool are bidding, that will suggest to Wolves fans that they may need to stick with the youngster.
He has been described as an ‘unbelievable‘ talent. And Liverpool obviously think that he is still worth pursuing.
It seems that the Reds are ready to make a big play to get him at long last.
