Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool may not sign Khephren Thuram because of Wataru Endo.
That is according to TEAMtalk, which has claimed Liverpool’s stance on Joao Palhinha as well.
So, what has been reported about Liverpool, Khephren Thuram, Joao Palhinha and Wataru Endo? Let’s take a look.
Liverpool rate Wataru Endo highly
Well, according to TEAMtalk, Liverpool rate Wataru Endo very highly. The former Premier League champions signed the Japan international defensive midfielder in the summer of 2023. He arrived from German club VfB Stuttgart.

TEAMtalk has noted that Liverpool could decide not to bring in Khephren Thuram from Nice and also ignore the chance to sign Joao Palhinha from Fulham.
Thuram was described as “fantastic” by Nice’s former caretaker-manager Didier Digard on RMC Sport. Manchester City have been linked with the 22-year-old France international.
Wataru Endo has to deliver for Liverpool
In my view, Wataru Endo has to deliver the goods for Liverpool. It seems that manager Jurgen Klopp really thinks that he could star for the team, and I believe that the Japan international needs to show consistently that he can star for the Reds.
Endo is getting playing time now and is doing well. The 30-year-old defensive midfielder has made four starts and seven substitute appearances in the Premier League for Liverpool this season. The Japan international has scored one goal in those games.
The midfielder has also scored one goal in six UEFA Europa League matches for Liverpool. However, he is not guaranteed a place in the starting lineup.
Meanwhile, Fussball Transfers has reported that Liverpool are closely following defender Piero Hincapie of Bayer Leverkusen.
