The Times has noted just how Jones is behind the scenes. The report has claimed that English youngster is “eager and open to be taught” and is always willing to improve and develop.
According to the report, Jones “has become a player who many inside Liverpool’s AXA training HQ will say is among the most diligent and committed when it comes to gym work, pre-activation and recovery.”
My View: Curtis Jones is a Liverpool gem
In my view, Curtis Jones is one of the best young players in the Premier League and is a Liverpool gem.
Former Liverpool midfielder Danny Murphy thinks that Jones is a super-talent who could develop and improve further.
Jones is only 22 now, but he already has a decent amount of experience. The midfielder has made 75 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career. He has scored seven goals and given five assists in those matches.
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has used Jones quite a bit this season. He rates the midfielder highly. The 22-year-old has scored one goal and given one assist in seven starts and five substitute appearances in the Premier League for the Reds.
The midfielder has also given two assists in four UEFA Europa League appearances, has scored three goals in four Carabao Cup games, and has played once in the FA Cup for the Merseyside club this campaign.
