Liverpool have already put a contract proposal over to Alexis Mac Allister ahead of a potential summer move.
According to renowned journalist Cesar Luis Merlo, the Reds have put a five-year contract on the table for Mac Allister, and the player is now analysing the offer alongside his father – who doubles up as his agent.
It’s no secret that Liverpool are huge fans of Mac Allister, Fabrizio Romano has been saying for quite some time now that the Reds were planning on meeting with the player’s family in the coming weeks, and it looks as though they’re now actively trying to convince the player that a move to Anfield is in his best interests.

Of course, getting a deal done for Mac Allister depends on a lot more than just personal terms, Liverpool also have to get a deal agreed with Brighton, and that’s easier said than done.
The Seagulls are apparently looking for more than £70m for their ‘incredible’ player, and as the south-coast club showed during the Moises Caicedo transfer saga in January, Brighton are no longer a team that will allow themselves to be bullied in the transfer market.
Luckily for Liverpool, Fabrizio Romano has reported that Mac Allister has a strong interest in leaving The Amex this summer, and he expects a deal to be done to cement his departure in the coming weeks, so perhaps Liverpool can get this one sewn up quickly.
It may not be long before we see Mac Allister leaving Brighton, but it remains to be seen where he will end up.
