Liverpool are reportedly ahead of the chasing pack when it comes to signing Brazilian defender, Lucas Beraldo, and have apparently held talks already.
Beraldo is thought to be on the Reds’ radar and he has already been linked with a £43m move to Anfield in the last few weeks.
A number of other clubs are thought to want to take Beraldo but it seems it is Liverpool who have made the first move.
According to The Sunday People (p51, 26/11), the Reds have already held talks about signing Beraldo.

Beraldo, 20, is considered an ‘outstanding‘ young centre-back and the latest in a long line of young talents currently emerging from Brazil.
Liverpool in talks over signing Lucas Beraldo
It seems the Reds are looking to exploit the South American market as they look to bring in new players.
They have been linked with a move for Fluminense midfielder Andre for some time now, albeit that interest seems to have waned a touch recently.
However, it does seem the Reds see value in going for players in South America at the moment.
They already have the likes of Darwin Nunez and Alexis Mac Allister in the squad, while goalkeeper Alisson is also a Brazil native.
Beraldo, then, would have little issue in settling in it seems if a move to Anfield does come about.
