Liverpool are in the market for a new centre-back.
Fabrizio Romano has recently reported that the Reds are working on signing a new defender, and, by the sounds of it, that hunt is starting to heat up.
Indeed, according to Di Marzio, Liverpool have just made a real push to sign a very talented defender.

According to this report, Liverpool have forcefully entered the race for Leny Yoro in the past few hours.
The ‘extraordinary’ defender has been tentatively linked with Liverpool for a little while now, but according to this report, the Reds are now making a real play for Yoro.
Di Marzio reports that the Merseyside club have made a forceful entry into the race for Yoro, and it sounds as though this could be one that the Merseyside club push for.
Leny Yoro is a talent
Liverpool could do a lot worse than making Yoro their first signing of the summer.
The young Frenchman already looks like one of the future stars of football.
At the age of 18, he’s already one of Lille’s most important players, but with just one year left on his contract, it may soon be time to cash in on the defender.
Even at this young age, it looks like Yoro has it all.
He’s composed, he’s smart and he’s physically dominant. There’s a reason Rio Ferdinand has tipped him to be one of the next great defenders in world football.
Of course, whether or not the Reds can get this deal done remains to be seen. Fabrizio Romano has stated that Yoro will cost ‘crazy money’ this summer, but the fact that the Reds are making such a push would suggest that they’re prepared to cough up the cash to get this young man in.
Yoro to Liverpool is certainly one to watch as we head into the summer.
