Liverpool are looking at possibilities in January as they assess their need to bring in a new defender during the window.
The Reds are believed to be considering a number of names as they look to bring in a new defender to strengthen the ranks.
Piero Hincapie is a name who is getting a mention, while it’s well known that Lloyd Kelly – albeit there is some doubt – is a player the Reds have also considered. Likewise, Goncalo Inacio is also a defender Liverpool like the look of.
However, one player who could still be considered by Liverpool is Nice star, Jean-Clair Todibo.
Liverpool still in mix to sign Jean-Clair Todibo
Todibo is thought to be high on Tottenham’s wishlist as well. The defender is thought to have had talks with Spurs already over a potential £43m move.
However, according to The Evening Standard, Liverpool and others should still be in the conversation when it comes to Todibo.

Todibo is expected to be on the move in January or in the summer at the latest.
Whether or not Liverpool will be the ones to get the deal done amid so much interest, is open to debate.
One to watch for many clubs
With January just around the corner, we are getting to the point where names and clubs get linked all over the place.
The ‘very talented‘ Todibo is one of the names gathering momentum at the moment. And while Tottenham look to be ahead in that race, there’s no way you can count a club like Liverpool out.
The Reds have shown in the past that if they want a player, they’ll go and get them, see Luis Diaz, for example.
Todibo, then, is definitely someone for a number of club’s fans to keep an eye on ahead of January.
