Liverpool are now said to be eyeing a summer move for a forward who could significantly impact the plan’s of the club’s next manager.

It now seems increasingly likely that Ruben Amorim will be the man to replace Jurgen Klopp, a move that has really gathered momentum since Xabi Alonso declared his position.

Amorim rightfully has a huge reputation in Portugal, a talent who has been fast-tracked through his managerial career such is his talent.

The 39-year-old was only in charge of SC Braga for 13 games before Sporting CP swooped in and stole him away.

And Liverpool fans have good reason to be excited about the club’s new chapter if it is spearheaded by Amorim.

That being said, it seems as if Liverpool’s transfer planning hasn’t stopped despite all the changes in the club’s hierarchy of late.

And as well as replacing Jurgen Klopp, it seems as if Liverpool are always keeping a contingency plan in place for Mohamed Salah’s eventual departure too.

And with that in mind, SportsLens have now reported the club’s interest in Athletic Bilbao’s Nico Williams

Liverpool convinced that Athletic winger Nico Williams is ready to step up ahead of summer move

According to the report, Liverpool have been scouting 21-year-old Williams across the whole season at Athletic, and are convinced of his talent.

The winger, who is thought to be faster than Kylian Mbappe, has a release clause of around £42m this summer, representing excellent value for any clubs interested.

Both Barcelona and Real Madrid are also said to want the winger, who has deeply impressed in La Liga.

And if Williams arrived as a Salah replacement or not, he would represent an incredibly exciting signing for Liverpool in the future.

The youngster already has 13 caps for Spain, and should get the chance to showcase his talent at this summer’s Euros.

And given his release clause and his talent, it would be a surprise if an interested club hadn’t already made their move before the competition.

All that being said, Fabrizio Romano has just shared his latest update on Ruben Amorim’s expected move to Liverpool.
