Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool are interested in signing Momodou Sonko in the January transfer window.
That is according to Fotboll Direkt, which has reported how much Liverpool would have to pay for the BK Hacken winger.
So, what has been reported about Liverpool and Momodou Sonko? Let’s take a look.
Liverpool making moves for Momodou Sonko
Well, according to Fotboll Direkt, Liverpool are among the clubs who are interested in signing Momodou Sonko from BK Hacken in the January transfer window.
The report has claimed that RB Leipzig and Bologna are also keen on securing the services of the 18-year-old winger. All three clubs are making “strong moves” for the Sweden Under-19 international.
Liverpool, RB Leipzig and Bologna all have held talks with BK Hacken for Sonko, who has scored four goals and given one assist in 13 appearances this season.
Swedish club BK Hacken want SEK 80 million (£6 million) for the teenager, according to the report.
My View: Momodou Sonko could be a bargain signing like Andy Robertson
In my opinion, if £6 million is all it would take to sign Momodou Sonko, then Liverpool should get a deal done for the winger in the January transfer window.
The 18-year-old Swedish winger could be a bargain signing for Liverpool, just like Andy Robertson has proven to be.

Some would have found it ‘unfashionable’ for Liverpool, an English and European giant, to sign a player from a modest club such as Hull, but Robertson has proven to be a bargain signing.
Now, 29, the Scottish player has developed into a world-class defender and one of the best left-backs on the planet.
I am not saying that Momodou Sonko could become world class in the future, but for just £6 million, he would be worth a player signing this month.
