Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp and his assistant Pep Lijnders both had a meeting with Darwin Nunez last week.
Nunez has had a stuttering start to life at Anfield, with his progress hampered by an early-season red card against Crystal Palace.
He started last night’s 2-0 win over Rangers and would have got on the scoresheet but for an impressive goalkeeping performance from Alan McGregor.
The Daily Mail report that Klopp and Lijnders sought Nunez after Sunday’s training session and gave him a very clear message.

They report that Klopp and Liverpool want Nunez to stay calm despite his tough start to the season.
The report discusses a ‘fire’ that Nunez has inside him and of course that spilled over against Palace when he saw red – literally and metaphorically.
That has set a precedent of opposition defenders trying to get inside his head that way and the only way to get through it is by keeping calm.
In the summer, former Reds defender Abel Xavier called Nunez a ‘fantastic‘ signing and tipped his old club to win the league.
As it has turned out, Erling Haaland has ripped up the Premier League with Manchester City, which has put even more pressure on Nunez.
Liverpool are confident that the goals will come for their big-money summer signing and last night’s win puts them second in the group at the halfway stage.
