Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp rates Caoimhin Kelleher highly.
That is according to The Times, which has reported just what Klopp really thinks of the Liverpool goalkeeper.
So, what has been reported about Liverpool and Caoimhín Kelleher? Let’s take a look.
Jurgen Klopp Caoimhin Kelleher could replace Alisson as Liverpool no. 1
Well, according to The Times, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp thinks that Caoimhin Kelleher will be able to become the number one goalkeeper for his team eventually.

Kelleher is the number two for the Reds. The Times has reported that Klopp “has long held the view” that the 25-year-old Republic of Ireland international goalkeeper “has the ability to be the No 1 and such faith remains intact”.
Caoimhin Kelleher needs to consider his Liverpool future
In my view, Caoimhin Kelleher has to consider his future at Liverpool, if not in the January transfer window then certainly in the summer of 2024.
Alisson is injured now, which means that Kelleher will get his chance to start regularly for the Reds. However, once the Brazilian is back, the Republic of Ireland international will go back on the bench.
Kelleher is 25 now. He has played only five appearances in the Premier League so far in his career. The goalkeeper has turned out 11 times for the Republic of Ireland.
I believe that the goalkeeper is good enough to play for a top club on a regular basis. Yes, Liverpool are one of the biggest clubs on the planet, but being a squad player is not going to help Kelleher enhance his career.
