Jurgen Klopp is set to put Andy Robertson back into his Liverpool squad for the Champions League clash with Rangers.
Robertson picked up a knee injury in Liverpool’s first European match of the season, the 4-1 defeat against Napoli and has not played since.
The Times report that Robertson is fit to be a part of the squad for the game but he will not start the match.
That means Kostas Tsimikas is likely to continue at left-back in a back four which has been hit by injuries to Joel Matip and Trent Alexander-Arnold.

“They only trained now a couple of days, we cannot now just put them in just because the others are out,” Klopp told the Anfield media team.
“Robbo is in the squad for tomorrow; Curtis not, Ox not, Naby not. That’s it.
“It’s important the boys [are] coming back but it is not that you are back, train twice with the team and then here we go. It’s not like this.”
Liverpool have been struggling this season and the return of an ‘unbelievable‘ player is a boost for Klopp and his whole squad.
They go into this game second in the group with six points, while Rangers are bottom without a point to show for their efforts so far.
A win for Liverpool here would all but see them qualify for the knockout round and Robertson will be looking to help them get a result off the bench.
