Kylian Mbappe is destined for a move to Real Madrid this summer and Liverpool star Luis Diaz has emerged as a possible replacement for the France captain – with PSG keen on the Colombian ace.
Diaz, 27, has endured a tough campaign off the pitch but he has not let it affect his form – having a hand in 16 goals in 38 games for Jurgen Klopp‘s side. Six goals and assists in the last seven league games.
Reports this week claim that PSG have identified Diaz as a replacement for Mbappe this summer, with the Frenchman set to move to Real Madrid to team up with Jude Bellingham and boss Carlo Ancelotti.
But, a report from the Mail states that Diaz is happy at Anfield and has no intention of leaving the club in the coming months. Whether PSG will change that remains to be seen – armed with plenty of cash.

Losing Mbappe is going to be an enormous blow for the French champions, and they will be in the market for a top-tier replacement. Diaz is certainly that, even if his numbers are not overly eye-catching.
Liverpool bought Diaz for a bargain fee less than £40m, and with a contract until the summer of 2027, they’re under no pressure to sell the former Porto man. Change is afoot at Anfield in the coming months.
Whether the loss of Klopp will affect the future of some Liverpool stars this summer remains to be seen. It might depend on the replacement, with Bayer Leverkusen’s Xabi Alonso the favourite to take over.
But as things stand, Diaz is happy at Liverpool and PSG’s interest does not look as though it will turn his head moving forward. PSG will have to spend big to get him, with Liverpool said to rate him at £102m.
