There has now been an update on Joshua Kimmich for Liverpool fans to digest – amid reports of a potential move for the Bayern Munich No.6 this summer.
It was Sky Deutschland who provided the information.
So, what is the latest on Liverpool target Joshua Kimmich? Let’s take a look…
Bayern Munich ready to sell Joshua Kimmich
Well – according to BILD – Michael Edwards wants to sign the Germany international regardless of who replaces Jurgen Klopp this summer.
The 44-year-old is especially keen to take advantage of this market opportunity, as Kimmich enters the final 12 months on his contract at the Allianz Arena.
Bayern Munich are yet to make any progress in talks over a new deal, and now – according to Sky Deutschland – the German giants are ready to sell the midfield maestro.
It is said that selling Kimmich was previously “unimaginable” in Munich given the 29-year-old’s strong relationship with the club and his family connection to the Bavarians.

Kimmich has scored one goal and provided eight assists in 31 appearances across all competitions this season.
29-year-old would join Liverpool
Interestingly, Kimmich is believed to be open to joining Liverpool.
It was Florian Plettenburg of Sky Deutschland who claimed that the Rottweil-born maestro would genuinely consider moving to Anfield, as he weighs up the next chapter of his career.

Be sure to keep an eye on this situation, as Liverpool seem well placed to sign Kimmich this summer.
